Chianti DOCG "Fontebraccio"
GRAPE VARIETIES: 100% Sangiovese.
VINIFICATION: Fontebraccio is the result of accurate selection of the best Sangiovese grapes. After destemming and soft pressing, maceration takes place in concrete vats where, for a period of 15 days, the must is subject to frequent pumping over and delestage to fully extract colour and tannins. During this phase the wine completes alcoholic fermentation at a temperature which never exceeds 30°C. Malo-latic fermentation is completed by the end of the year and the wine is thetransferred into French oak barrels.

AGEING: 12 months in oak barrels, 5 months in the bottle.
SUGGESTIONS: Ideal with roast, grilled and red meat, it is also pleasant with typical Tuscan dished, such as salted ham and Florentine-style tripe. Serve at 16 - 18° C.
